March

March's First Thursday event was held at Victor's Bistro . They are located at 1247 South Irby Street. The celebration of good times by good people deserves a place like Victor’s. Each time you visit, we’ll add to your enjoyment with truly exquisite hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, house-made sauces and a wondrous array of tapas (small plate appetizers) that let you and your guests experience many smaller servings of our delectable gourmet creations. Executive Chef Bill Harwell invites you to experience a unique dining experience in each of his two unique restaurants, both under one roof.

February

February's First Thursday event was held at Community Resource Bank. They are located at 2009 Hoffmeyer Road, directly in front of K-mart. Community Bankshares, Inc. has been the parent company to five subsidiaries – Orangeburg National, Sumter National, Florence National, Bank of Ridgeway, and Community Resource Mortgage. Industry studies, supported by an exhaustive internal examination, clearly indicated considerable shareholder and customer value to be gained by combining our five companies into one bank. The new structure will provide important operating efficiencies, the potential for significant expense savings, and many customer advantages. That assessment made our decision to consolidate a compelling one. When you are traveling we invite you to conduct your banking at any of our locations throughout our footprint.... another customer convenience just for you!
